It is 'the' event for the industry, and for professionals to keep abreast of the developments in the building industry, mingle and network with captains of industries, besides sourcing for innovative products, designs and services.
Jointly organised by the Malaysian Institute of Architects (Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia - PAM) and C.I.S Netwock Sdn Bhd in conjuction with PAM 2010 Convention, the exhibition has now developed into the largest architecture, Interior Design and Building exhibition in Malaysia.
Held on the first weekend of July, this is the annual must-visit exhibition for architects, interior designers, developers, quantity surveyors, engineers and other building industry professionals from the region.
Several key activities will be featured in this four-day event, which serve as the key point for thousands of architects, interior designers, developers and building professionals from around the world to congregate in Kuala Lumpur.
This exhibiton will feature more that 820 booths by over 330 companies from eight countries, including Malaysia, Austria, China, Singapore, Australia, Germany, Korea and Thailand, and will occupy five exhibition halls, the Grand Ballroom and a new Green Hall - introduced for the first time in Archidex.
The Green Hall is exclusively for exhibitors to exhibit environmental, green building technologies, and green related products, accredited from various bodies and agencies worldwide.
There is also the New Product Awards and the newly introduced Green New Product Awards - a show-case of newly launched products in the market that are accomplished through design, innovation and technology for the built environment, to meet lifestyle standards of today and beyond,
This year, 58 nominated products have been submitted by participating exhibitors and will be judged by a jury panel during the exhibition, based on the products' design, innovation, material and technology criterion.
Meanwhile, there will be a special feature in exhibition Hall 5 - EXPOS - a showcase of the latest and newly launched design, trends, concepts and materials by participating exhibitors, all showcased within a dark ambience for a different exoerience of sights, shapes and sounds.
The much awaited concurrent conference and forums will also be highlighted in Archidex for the architects and interior designers. International and locally renowned speakers will be sharing their experiences, insights and design philosophies.
