One school of legal thought argues that the foundations of law itself derive from a code of human behaviour; based on 'morals'. Thus, legislation is hampered by innate human limits.
One such limit: the fleet of cars in the hands of our constabulary. Clearly, you're not going to give meaningful chase in an Astra panda car.
But EVI has stepped in to drastically redress the balance. The American organisation, based in Virginia, is headed up by an ex US secret service agent and outfits undercover police cars. They told TopGear.com that they've been asked by an undisclosed police force to equip that GT-R you see above for undercover police duty.
EVI couldn't comment on the car's spec, nor which police force would be deploying said GT-R for undercover duty, nor if it's even in the US. It could have been shipped anywhere around the world, they told us.
But they did share some pics. Criminals of the world, you have been warned...
